Purchase of birth pools, water birth kits, and accessories
In our webshop for professionals, hospitals and birth centers can directly purchase birth pools suitable for clinical use. Both fixed FP3 pools and mobile Birth Pool in a Box Pro models are available.
Mobile birth pool (Birth Pool in a Box Pro)
Our mobile birth pools have a guaranteed lifespan of at least 50 uses. The portable pool starter kit includes reusable items for your hospital:
- The professional Birth Pool in a Box pool, available in various sizes and colors.
- An electric inflation pump.
- A faucet diverter valve, allowing easy switching between shower and birth pool water supply within the delivery room.
Additionally, a disposable birth kit is required for each hospital water birth. You can select from:
- Standard water birth kit: Includes essential disposables (new liner, hose with connectors, and water pump).
- Premium water birth kit: Includes all essentials plus additional accessories (thermometer, debris net, long gynecological gloves, and an anti-slip mat).
Accessories can also be purchased separately.
Fixed birth pool (FP3 birth pool)
Hospitals may opt for the fixed FP3 birth pool, renowned for its minimalist design that combines hygiene, safety, and patient comfort with ease of use for healthcare professionals.
Disposable birth kits are not necessary for the FP3 pool, but thorough cleaning after each use is required. Only the drain plug is disposable; a new plug must be used for each birth to maintain optimal hygiene for mother and baby.

Option 2
Provide water birth at hospital without financial investment + managed inventory
The hospital receives the required mobile birth pools and the client pays for the water birth kit herself at the hospital once labour has started
This option allows hospitals to offer water birth at hospital without any initial investment (applicable only to mobile birth pools). Birthpools provides your facility with the necessary Birth Pool in a Box Pro pools, inflation pumps, and hospital-specific faucet diverters. Additionally, we collaborate with you to determine an appropriate inventory level of disposable birth kits.
Patients purchase their birth kits directly in the hospital when labor begins. We offer various integrated payment solutions for convenience. Birthpools also manages your inventory by automatically replenishing disposable kits once your minimum stock level is reached, ensuring your hospital always maintains an adequate supply.
