Contents of Birthpools’ starter kits
Our starter kits are carefully assembled with reusable equipment that allows
you to offer birthing pool services with confidence. Each kit includes:
- A birthing pool (Birth Pool in a Box)
- An electric air pump
- A universal tap connector set
- A practical storage box for the pump and connectors
If you're working in a hospital setting, we offer a dedicated hospital
starter kit that also includes a special tap connector. This adapter allows
you to easily switch between shower water and water for the birth pool,
streamlining the setup in clinical environments. All components are designed
to be easy to clean and can be reused for multiple births.
Difference between starter kits and water birth kits
A starter kit includes the reusable essentials you only need to purchase
once. For each individual home pool birth or hospital water birth, you’ll
also need a water birth kit. These contain single-use items such as a
hygienic liner, a sterile water hose, and a submersible pump. Clients can
order these themselves, or you can keep them in stock at your practice.
